2021 International Symposium on Ocean Engineering Structure and Mechanical Equipment(OESME2021)

On December 18, 2021, the "2021 International Symposium on Ocean Engineering Structure and Mechanical Equipment (OESME2021)" was successfully held through a combination of online and offline methods. The forum was co-hosted by our university, the Heilongjiang Ship-building Engineering Society, and the Heilongjiang Mechanical Engineering Society, with the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering College of our university and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Key Laboratory of Special Auxiliary for Warship and Submarine Equipment as the organizers. The event received technical support from IEEE.The opening ceremony of the conference was presided over by Professor Shidongyan of our university's College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and the opening speech was delivered by Professor Xu Jian'an, Dean of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at our university (also the Chairman of the Conference).

In attendance at this conference were also several teacher from our university, including Professor Lv Chunlei, Secretary of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and Professor Li Jinghua, Associate Dean of the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. More than 100 experts and scholars from China, Canada, Italy, Norway, and other countries participated in this conference. They collectively discussed the latest developments and trends in the field of advanced marine engineering structures and mechanical equipment.

Excellent Presentation

The conference featured distinguished presentations by invited speakers , including Professor Zhang Aman from our university, Professor Chen Zengtao from the University of Alberta in Canada, Senior Engineer Liu Jianfeng from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Shanghai Waigaoqiao, Professor Chai Wei from Wuhan University of Technology, Professor Yihan Xing from the University of Stavanger in Norway, and Professor Nicholas Fantuzzi from the University of Bologna in Italy. These experts delivered outstanding academic reports on international frontier hot topics such as marine resource development technology and proposed future directions for research in ship and marine mechanical engineering.

Enthusiastic Discussion

During the event, experts and scholars engaged in enthusiastic discussions, collectively sharing and deliberating on the latest research findings in their respective fields. The atmosphere in the conference room was lively and organized, resulting in fruitful outcomes and fostering a new academic ecosystem characterized by "open exchange and shared achievements."

During the online presentations, more than 20 scholars from our university, as well as Shanghai Maritime University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Central South University, Yanshan University, China University of Petroleum, and several other universities, delivered outstanding reports in the field of maritime and mechanical engineering. The conference atmosphere was characterized by lively and well-organized discussions, resulting in fruitful outcomes.
