Institute of Robotics Technology
1. Team profile
The Institute of Robotics Technology is one of the characteristic disciplines of mechanical and electronic engineering in our university. It is developed from the Mechatronics Laboratory established in the 1990s, and has a good academic heritage and research foundation. In the past 20 years, under the guidance of "people's life and health" in powerful countries in science and technology, we have strengthened the goal of building a high-quality life and health system, and targeted the development needs of human-machine cooperation robots in industrial systems, rehabilitation training robots for the disabled, elderly care robots and service robots in special environments. The basic theories and key technologies of the structure, control and perception of integrated robots, wearable/medical and service robots, bionic robots, and advanced industrial robots have been deeply researched, and many innovative research results have been achieved. The research of rehabilitation robots is at an advanced level in domestic universities and research institutes, which supports high-level personnel training and serves the national demand for service robot research and development.
