Research direction of the tensegrity and large deployable structures in space research group
Since 2006, the tensegrity and large deployable structures in space research group has been dedicated to the research of the large deployable structures and mechanisms in space. Based on research topics such as large deployable antennas in space, extension arms, optical mirror deployment mechanisms, mesh antennas, fixed surface antennas, spherical tensegrity landing structures, four-bar, six-bar tensegrity robots, etc., the main focus is on the research of deployment mechanism, deployment process motion, mechanical analysis, and deployment performance analysis; Combining the unique and superior mechanical properties of the tensegrity structure, conduct lightweight research on large-scale deployable structures. The laboratory has good research conditions and is currently hosting multiple vertical projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Heilongjiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation.
