Team profile:
The research team addresses major technical needs in the fields of ocean energy generation technology, ocean engineering equipment, marine emergency rescue equipment, ship power system reliability, and underwater deployable systems. Through recent research work, the following main research directions have been formed: new ocean energy capture technology, deep-sea large tonnage wave compensation technology, steel strand hydraulic synchronous lifting technology, and digital design technology. The detailed information is listed in Fig. 1.

Since 2010, this team has undertaken more than 60 research projects with over 20 million yuan in funding. More than 100 academic papers have been published and they can be retrieved by SCI, EI, ISTP, etc. More than 50 national invention patents have been declared and more than 30 have been authorized. The outstanding new ocean energy capture technology is elaborated in Fig. 2.
