Mobile Robot and Manipulation Research Team

1. Introduction

The aim of the Mobile Robot and Manipulation Research Team is to carry research on mobile manipulation robot to meet the requirement of the economic construction of China and national defense strategic demand. The main research focuses of the team are the applications of the mobile manipulation, initial position measurement, target automatic recognition and location. The related researches include intelligent perception, machine vision and artificial intelligence, target identification and location, environment perception and 3D reconstruction, robotics and intelligent control, intelligent manufacturing, robot harvesting. The team have established good collaborative relationship with corporations and institutes of CNNC, famous universities of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other research institutions. 

The team has undertaken more than 50 projects including the national science foundations, the 863 high technology programs, the national defense pre research, the province key science technology research, high technology ship, etc. The team have published more than 160 papers, 9 technical books or text books, and have been authorized 60 patents. There are more than 30 members in the team, including 1 professor, 2 associate professors, 3 lecturers and over 20 graduate students. The team were awarded the first prize of Heilongjiang Province University Science and Technology Award, and the second prize of Heilongjiang Province Natural Science and Technology Academic Achievement Award.
